It is frankly a great experience to listen to music without the intervention of electricity. This early 20th century Victrola model VV 4-40 is a relic. It arrived with enamel paint, very dirty but working! Now we had to fully maintain the mechanism and make it 100% functional. Every bolt was removed and every part was lubricated, even the flat springs that wind the motor were greased. On the outside it was sanded carefully and in detail, specially formulated oil and wax were put on it, to later be polished with a wool mop. Each metal part was polished and the missing brass handles were made.
